Spycat gets a mention on Kidscreen!

In July, we told you that Spycat and the Paper Chase is now available on movie streaming service Facets Kids.

And now, Spycat gets a mention on Kidscreen!

Kidscreen is the leading international trade publication serving the informational needs and interests of kids entertainment professionals. According to this Kidscreen article (“This streaming service wants to ignite a generation of movie critics“) dated September 3, 2015, Spycat is one of the most popular films on the Facets Kids service.

Spycat and the Paper Chase is now available on Facets Kids!

Facets Kids is a movie streaming service. The service offers hundreds of children films that have been specially curated by the people behind the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (Spycat was at the 29^th CICFF!). Facets Kids subscribers can enjoy these films from their computers, iPads and smart devices.

Spycat goes to Turkey!

After a ten month hiatus, Spycat and the Paper Chase returns for two dates in Turkey, the film’s 34^th country!

We’re honoured to be part of the 11^th Garanti Mini Bank International Children’s Film Festival (Garanti Mini Bank 11. Uluslararası Çocuk Filmleri Festivali).

The festival is a collaboration between Garanti Bank and TÜRSAK (Turkish Foundation of Cinema and Audiovisual Culture). It will be held in the cities of Erzurum (21 – 22 October 2014) and Rize (5 – 6 November 2014).

And because we really love seeing people enjoy Spycat in different countries and languages, here is the film title and synopsis in Turkish:

Casus Kedi ve Kağıt Avı

Casus Kedi son marifeti dünyadaki tüm kağıttan nesneleri çalmaya teşebbüs etmek olan Kaptan Chico’nun peşine düşer. Bu macera sırasında Casus kedİnin yolu hareketli bir şehir olan Tokyo’ya düşer.

Spycat goes to Malta!

Spycat will be in Rabat, Malta for the Christmas season!

Malta brings Spycat’s total number of countries visited to 33.

If you’re in Malta this weekend, you’ll be able to catch Spycat at the inaugural Malta International Film Festival for Children.

The event is organised by Curtain Raiser Entertainment and is part of their lineup for The Christmas Bash.

The Christmas Bash will be held at Xara Lodge on Sunday, 22 Dec 2013.

There will be two Spycat screenings, one at 10:15am and another at 1:15pm.

Spycat goes to Sweden!

The 4^th International Random Film Festival (6 – 8 December 2013) must be our strangest film festival yet!

The IRFF is held annually at a randomly selected location, on a randomly selected date. Films are selected randomly, and awards are – you guessed it – given out randomly as well!

Spycat was one of 50 films chosen randomly from 1461 entries.

This year, the festival will take place in the village of Garpenberg, Sweden (population 518). This makes Sweden the 32^nd country that Spycat has visited! 

You can catch Spycat with Swedish subtitles in the festival programme Short Films 3.
