Spycat wins at the Giffoni Film Festival!

Fantastic news, Spycat fans!

At the recently-concluded 42nd Giffoni Film Festival in Italy, Spycat and the Paper Chase took home the Gryphon Award for Best Short Film in the Elements +3 category.

This award is especially meaningful to us as the result was decided solely by child jurors, who get to vote for their favourite film. For the Elements +3 category, the jury was made up of hundreds of 3 to 5-year-olds from Italy and around the world.

The Giffoni Film Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious children’s film festivals in the world. As guests of the festival, we were thrilled by the buzzing atmosphere, the large turnout and of course, the enthusiasm of the children. You can check out the list of awarded films here, photographs from the festival here and festival facts and figures here (in Italian).

We would like to thank everyone at the Giffoni Film Festival for this honour and for their warm hospitality. And most importantly… grazie mille, ragazzi!
